Becky Popham is a young, emerging artist from England who is now living and working in Tauranga. Since being caught drawing on her bedroom carpet, aged 3, art has been a big part of her life, leading her to explore different media before finding her niche within drawing and illustration.
Becks' illustrative style is predominently influenced by film, graphic novels and literature. These in turn act as inspiration for her own unusual characters, creatures and alter egos.
Using pens, markers & ink, she combines simple images with fine detail to give her work depth and interest.
She warmly invites you to join her down the rabbit hole for a spot of tea but do mind the carpet and stay out of Room 237.
